Wish List Wednesday and Goodbye March

I feel like I've fallen so far behind, that I might never catch up. It seems like all I've been doing is trying to organize my millions of "To Do" and "To Get" lists that I haven't actually done anything productive. So in honor of my insane list making, my wish for this week is to get these pads.
They are available through etsy at Finch and Hawk.
And now a small farewell to March. I can't believe 3 months of 2010 have passed already. This year is completely flying by!

Hopefully April will be a little more productive!

My Boys...Tuesday

Oops! My Boys Monday hasn't really worked out the past two weeks. Better late than never I guess. Yesterday, my fabric for Lennox's room came in! I have to get some coordinating fabrics, but these are the main ones.
I'm for sure planning on a quilt and curtains...but I may branch out to more stuff if that goes well. I'm certainly open to suggestions!
On Saturday we ventured to The Funky Finds Spring Fling. There were a ton of great vendors. We got this onesie for Lennox from Burp Clothing, and I ordered a new and bigger diaper bag for both the boys (and me), which I'll show off the moment I get it. :o)

And here are my "big" boys looking for some good records at the flea market next door to Funky Finds.

The Pink Galas

Last month my mother requested that I make a t-shirt for my sister and her 3-day group, The Pink Galas. Here are the lovely ladies wearing their new shirts.
The back was my mother's idea. I did a reverse applique on them and used pink leopard fabric that my mother found.

Here is a closer view of the front. I put together the design myself, however I can't really take credit for the design. The apple was from a coloring book, the walking ribbon was a pin I found and transfered into a drawing and the font is called Giddy-Up. Still I'm kinda proud of it...as it's the first design I've ever put together.
Next, I need to start working on the baby girl basket for their silent auction. I think they are planning on having it next month, so I have to get my butt in gear. Already have the fabric I want to use and my mother kindly donated a basket.

Wish List Wednesday

As I was playing with my new laptop yesterday, I was wishing for a mouse...completely unlike the cute little guys below, but I thought they were cute. "Friends" is available at Badbird's Etsy Shop.
She's got a ton of beautiful prints as well as some fantastic embroidery patterns. Also, her blog is fun to explore.

After fooling around on Etsy, I decided that I needed to give my mouse a
chance and try my first digi page on a laptop. I made it simple, but it seems to have worked out. We may be friends yet, despite minor arguments.

Good-bye February and Wish List Wednesday

I think I'm slightly in denial. I cannot believe it's already March! Two months have already FLOWN by.

And this week on Wish List Wednesday...I wish I could knit, because I would make a few of these for baby Lennox. Just for pictures and maybe for cold winter nights, but mostly just for pictures.
Just in case you are lucky enough to know how to knit, the pattern is available at All You Need is Love. Feel free to make one for me too ;o)

My Boys Monday

I always seem to have trouble finding boy stuff. Whether it be fun stuff in stores or cool crafts. So many things are geared towards girls. Entire stores and books are dedicated to them.
It was wonderful when Made by Rae and Made decided to do a Celebrate the Boy month for February. There were some great guest bloggers that shared their amazing boy crafts, plus some great tutorials. I really was inspired.
Now that I know I'm expecting boy #2 I've decided that I will dedicate Mondays to them. Hopefully I can keep it up. It might not always be a completed project. I might add a project I found and would love to complete or great boy treasure I found to purchase somewhere.
Here is my first list of stuff I would like to complete for my boys.

1. Bandana Pants
2. Superhero Cape
3. Robot Goody/Tooth Pillow
4. Tie Shirt
5. 90 Minute Shirt
6. Paratrooper Softie
