Christmas in April

A few years ago my mother got mini Christmas trees and had all the "kids" decorate one. I don't have a picture of the one I made, but it was the year I got married so it became a sort of memory tree. I thought it would be cute to make one for every big event. After Christmas I found this tree on clearence and decided to do it up in memory of Lyndon's birth. Only took me four months to complete, but it's done now!

Funky Finds Spring Fling

We went to the Funky Finds Spring Fling this weekend.
I didn't get Lyndon's Beatles outfit fixed in time so he wore the cute pants that Alisha made him.
I got this T-shirt from http://xyfactory.com/

This is a koala from http://www.fuzzymuffins.net/ we've named him Mitch, because he's the cutest infestation ever!!!

And cherry switch plates for my new kitchen
It was lots of fun even if it was super hot. There were a ton of great crafters...and I even got a few good ideas for stuff I can make. I can't wait to go to the Etsy Dallas Spring Bash next month.

Belated Easter

I managed to finish this bib Saturday night....just in time for Easter! It's covered in carrots now...but I'm hoping I can get it out.
And here is my little Easter Bunny modeling his new bib.

I also made a digi card...that got emailed out late last night...so I didn't quite miss Easter. Lyndon was SO good with the Easter bunny.

The Pillow That Almost Cost a Sewing Machine...

My sister asked me to make some pillows for her living room. I thought I would be clever closing it up with the machine...turns out being clever just causes a big headache...also makes a nice pillow though so I guess I can't complain to much. My sewing machine had a few complaints...but it's okay now. We worked out our issues and I think it will keep working for me...at least for a little while. Arianna decided she only wanted one pillow....but I have a few more I plan on doing for my house. Hopefully they will get a little easier to complete.

Arianna loves squirrels. I found this one at The Long Thread.
