I was kinda sad to take down my Easter Wreath and my door looked lonely. SO I decided to make another yarn wreath, since I have a TON of it. I wrapped the wreath and then it sat on my dining table for a week while I tried to figure out what to do with it.
Then last week I came across THIS POST from Make it and Love it. She has a ton of great fabric scrap ideas, including a link on how to make Yo-Yo's. I think I'm addicted. They are SO easy and look SO pretty.
I made a bunch in a pink, green, brown family of colors and then topped them with buttons. I had a bunch of very pale pink tulle that finished off the wreath.
Here's some detail of my yo-yo's and buttons.

Oh, that's too cute Cerise! You're very creative! :)
those yoyo's would look super cute on some fabric bookmarks - you should do that?
the wreath is awesome.
Cerise, this is BEAUTIFUL! And thanks for the idea! I have so many yoyos right now! I started making them for a Christmas project last year. And that project still hasn't been made. But I have a TON of yoyos still!
that is so lovely it almost looks like a wedding decoration!
