My Boys Monday - Father's Day Craft

On Friday Auntie Ari came over to help Lyndon make a present for Daddy.

He LOVED painting!
I finally got a good profile picture of Lyndon so we cut it out and used it as a stamp on the canvas. Lyndon doesn't like getting his hands or feet dirty...so making the prints was a little bit of an issue. I still love how it turned out.
Lyndon loved painting so much he even painted a card for his Grand-Dad on Sunday.
I know I'm just a proud Mama...but I think he's pretty talented. :o)

Sew Sunday

First, just wanted to wish all the Dads out there a Happy Father's Day.
Now...something completely unrelated. Two dresses I made for The Enchanted Artist. After making these I decided that I need to have a girl in this house if only to be a model...or at the very least a reference. Munch was NOT amused when I held the larger dress up to him to see if it needed to be shortened.
Thanks to Alisha of Crandallation for giving me the idea to use the guitar fabric for a dress. I love how it came out.
Here is my 4th of July dress. I made this one with a t-shirt instead of a onesie. Just as easy, but I worry that the top is a little long.
I will have some Father's Day pictures to share tomorrow!!

My Boys...Tuesday

I spent all day yesterday editing photos and this is the only decent picture I could find with the t-shirt I did for Munch. Sadly he has a binkie in his mouth...happily we lost it. :o)
Detail.
I used a hand embroidery pattern of a bicycling bunny that I found at Urban Threads. They have some REALLY awesome patterns in their store and a monthly freebie to try. Makes me desperately want a embroidery machine!
I was planning on doing an outline of the bunny but went with the circle instead so you could see the clouds on the fabric. Made it a lot easier!

Blue

Put together a gift set for my cousin, who is expecting a boy next month.
This is one of the larger baby blankets I've made so far. It took me a little longer than usual, because I kept over heating. Probably will be taking a little break from blanket making...at least until the end of my pregnancy.

Good-Bye May

Another month over...and another month closer to boy #2! The pictures below were taken at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. It was lots of fun but I ended up with my first case of chigger bites....nasty little things.
