Scrappy Saturday

Goodness! Has is already been a week? I guess I've been seriously slacking. Although, maybe not completely...we found out Wednesday that we are expecting Boy #2!! We've been keeping in relatively quite, but as I'm pretty much out of the 1st trimester, we decided to tell the world. :o) I really have to get on top of my crafting now AND get on top of Munch's scrapbook. I would like to be up to date before Nugget gets here.
Anyway, here is Nugget's first page.

Scrappy Saturday

Finally got Munch's Snow Layout done. I say finally because I had pretty much finished the layout when Munch came by and decided to turn off the computer. I really need to remember to save my projects BEFORE I'm done with them.

Wish List Wednesday

Today I'm wishing for Spring. Not very crafty, but I did take the photo.
And it wasn't spring, it was October, but there were beautiful flowers and the temperature was perfect...so we can pretend.

My Funny Valentine

Decided to give reverse applique another try.

Not sure if it was the simple heart shape, the size of the shirt or using cotton instead of flannel, but this time around was a lot easier.

Baby Monkey

My friend Tori had her baby shower on Saturday, so I had to make her something. The baby's bedroom theme is jungle animals and her boyfriend LOVES monkeys...so I went with that. Tried out reverse applique for the first time. (Note to self: working on onesies with a machine is NOT easy.)
Also made her these cute burp cloths. I really like the middle one.

My gift was the only handmade gift and Tori almost cried.

My sister has requested I put together a little pink, baby girl basket of stuff including burp cloths, a onesie and some other stuff for her silent auction she's having in April (she thinks). All proceeds will go to The Pink Galas team donation for Susan G. Komen. My sister and a couple of her fellow teachers are doing the 3 Day Walk for the Cure in November. I'm SO proud of her for doing this.

Looking for Some Inspiration

I feel like I've been in a little bit of a crafty slump at the moment. Don't get me wrong I have plenty on my to do list, but at the moment nothing on my list is calling out and saying "Create ME!"

Even my digital scrapbooking is at a stand still. I think the main problem there is that I don't have any idea where to start, because that list is HUGE.
So in an attempt to locate my craftiness I've been looking through my pre-blog digi pages. Here are two of my favorites.

I'm now hunting through the challenges at Scrapbook Flair to see if I can find something that will give me a little jump start.
Happily I did complete a couple of cute things for my friend Tori's baby shower tomorrow. So I will have pictures of those posted this weekend.
