Girly I Spy Quilt

I had so much fun making a quilt for Munch that I had to make one for his friend in Austin too. I haven't heard from her Mama yet, but I'm hoping they already have it. They are moving to Taiwan next month and I wanted her to have it for the plane trip.

Pick a Scarf

For Christmas I made my sister's boyfriend Mark a pick bag. Which apparently was a wonderful idea because he's always losing his picks. The electric guitar is from a kit by Sublime Stitching.

To make the bag I used a tutorial for a snack bag by i have to say.

I also played with a new pattern I found and made this scarf for my father's girlfriend.

I PROMISE it was cleaned after my handsome pup modeled. I couldn't get the kid to stay still long enough or keep the scarf on long enough.

Cupcakes for Lunch

My sister requested a lunch bag for her to bring to work. So I made these cuties using a tutorial by The Purl Bee. It was SO super easy to make them and they would totally make adorable gift bags!

Alice with her Eat Me Cupcake was designed by Cate Anevski.

I also made this bag based using a tutorial by The Long Thread. I found the embroidery pattern on Flickr and it was created by Jacque Davis.

Arianna really likes cupcakes...in case you hadn't guessed. She loved her all her bags.

Purple Cross

Finally gave my sister-in-law her birthday present yesterday. I really liked how this purple cross turned out.

Luckily, so did she!

Wish List Wednesday

I have been doing a lot of embroidery the past few weeks and have managed to draw blood several million times. It's amazing that I still have fingers. It's also amazing that I don't own one of these.

This pretty little thimble is from GypsysVardo and at a pretty good price too!

Pin Up Wreath

Thanks Martha! This wreath took only minutes to finish and I somehow managed to NOT burn myself in the process.

Looks kinda sad and lonely with only one card, but I promise it will look SO much better once I have more on there. I'll take another picture of it at the end of the month to show it off in all it's glory.

MIL 60th Birthday

My mother-in-law turned 60 yesterday so of course I had to make her something! To be honest I had a hard time giving up this reversable bag. I just LOVE the fabric so much. However I already made a skirt with the gray fabric so I decided that I didn't want to be to matchy.

I still have a bunch of the yellow left so I think I'll make something for myself with it.

I also gave her this cross I made a while ago, but wasn't sure who to give it to. Turns out her favorite color is blue, so it worked out perfectly.

My Sister-in-law has a birthday next week and she already requested I make her one too! I have a few completed projects ready for Christmas, but I'm not sure who reads this so obviously I'll have to wait to give before I post.
